Extra-curricular activities

Learning at International House means not only taking part in regular classes but also in extracurricular activities. Our students have many opportunities to practice their language skills during different social events organized by our school, which are of course free of charge. These meetings also give students a chance to get to know our teachers. All activities are run by native speakers.

• KID'S CLUB
  An additional meeting for kids aged 7-10. A range of games, competitions and tournaments during which kids can learn English while playing. The meetings are on Saturday from 10-12 p.m. As they are getting more and more popular, it is necessary to book a place in advance.
  Kids’ Clubs planned for this school year are: Halloween Kids’ Club, Christmas Kids’ Club,
  Carnival Kid’s Club, Easter Kids’ Club, End-of-year Kids’ Club.
  
  
• TEEN'S CLUB
  On Saturday afternoons teenagers can meet to take part in a sporting or intellectual competition to win the title of “The best player”.
  
  
• CONVERSATION CLUB
  An evening meeting which gives the opportunity to improve the oral skills of English fluency. Time for discussion and persuasion for intermediate and advanced students.
  
  
• FILM CLUB
  A discussion based on a film (or its fragment), which students have just watched. It is a great chance to learn how to express ones’ positive and negative points of view. 
  
• BUSINESS CLUB 
  A meeting for students who are interested in business. It is usually preceded with a relevant presentation.
  
  
• EXAM CLUB
  After the winter break there will be some extra-curricular classes for students who are going to take the Cambridge exams. The meetings will take place regularly and every class will be devoted to particular problems. Students will share their time between problem solving, analyzing Cambridge Exams’ formats, and learning exam techniques.
