The matriculation courses

The new matriculation is a challenge for both students and teachers. One of its obligatory elements is an oral and written exam in a foreign language. There have been a number of changes to the structure and the content of the English matriculation exam and we have adjusted the programme of our course accordingly.

The objective of the matriculation course is solid preparation of our students for a new exam, as well as familiarizing them with an effective strategy for taking it. During the course, we will cover in-depth the grammatical material which is done in secondary schools and develop all the language skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading.

• the course consists of 92 lesson hours and lasts from October till April.
• classes are taught by a British and Polish teacher, twice a week and last 2 lesson hours.
• the groups range from 8 to 12 people.

At the end of the course, in order to define the level of a student’s preparation for the matriculaton exam, there will be a mock exam conducted.
