Bath & Torquay Bath Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in west England. It's known for it’s magnificent Georgian architecture, roman baths and gothic Bath Abby. Here Jane Austen wrote her best novels. International House is located in the historic General Wolfe’s House. Torquay Picturesque resort in south Devon along the English Riviera, one of the most beautiful areas of England. Among its attractions, the area offers astonishing coastline, clean beaches, and the national Nature Reserve at Berry Head. The International House is located in three comfortably furnished buildings close to the town centre with garden and sea view. Accommodation in Bath & Torquay: Typical accomodation includes a double- room, located 5-30 minutes walk from school, and three meals a day. In both cities there is bus service. Accommodation runs from Saturday to Saturday. How to get there: Bath: There is bus service from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports or Victoria Station in London - 2,5/4 hour trip. A one-hour bus also runs from Bristol. Torquay: There is bus service from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports or Victoria Station in London - trip takes 4-5 hours. A two-hour bus also runs from Bristol. Kids will be picked up by hosting families. Study abroad – Teenagers (14-17years old) Kids are separated according to English level knowledge. Before the course, all kids are must take a written test to check their level. During the classes students are monitored closely by the teachers. After- class activities change weekly. Weekly activity programs are provided. At the end of the course each student receives a certificate of attendance.

What students should bring: Warm clothes, raincoat, sportswear, gym shoes, swimsuit, tennis racket, and towels. Pocket money -suggested rate between 40-70 GBP per week (should be handed to the course office manager for safe keeping). 20 GBP deposit for keys. Summer courses for Teenagers 14/17 Courses always start on Monday. The first course starts on the 18th of June. It will last two weeks and finish on 13th of August. Home-stay accommodation: double- room, three meals a day (take-away lunch) Booked from Saturday to Saturday Programme: 15 hours of lessons per week in small classes of 12-15. Extra activities (swimming pool, bowling, sport games, walks, art classes) and weekend excursions are available. The kids will be under adult supervision at all times. Not far from Newcastle is the Lake District, old Hadrian Wall and Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. Newcastle is a lively university city. It is home to the biggest Market place in Europe with many shops and cinemas, and a fun centre. International House is located in the town centre close to Chinatown and picturesque St. James Park. How to get there British Airways through London (Heathrow or Gatwick). Metro from Newcastle airport takes 20 minutes. Airport pick-up if available (extra charged) Bus from Poland to London and then London Newcastle (5/6 hours). Summer courses for Teenagers 11/16 The course is Located in Mowden Hall, a large Victorian mansion with a view of the Tyne Valley. Situated safely within 55 acres of woodlands and fields, the hall is a private boarding school for children aged 11-16 years. During the summer, International House has the use of school for English summer courses. In the main building, you can find dorms, a cafeteria, bathrooms and well-equipped classrooms. Mowden Hall is close to Newcastle and 15 minutes from Newcastle International Airport. The school offers a Science, Art and Technology Centre; computer rooms; an indoor heated swimming pool; a large sports hall and tennis courts.
