I have multiple hobbies, masses of enthusiasm and I'm always looking for something new to do. I'm an avid cyclist - I love the freedom and independence my bike gives me and I spend every summer cycling for a few weeks. I enjoy learning new languages - this year it's been Swedish. I believe learning new languages influences our personality and changes the way we view the world. As a teacher I hope I can instill this enthusiasm for language learning in my students. In my lessons I put emphasis on communication; role plays and games are my favourite types of classroom activities. In 2011 I graduated from a Master's programme in Community and Voluntary Sector Studies at Birkbeck College, University of London. This led me to work in various capacities for a few charities. I've worked as a teacher in Italy and England. Recently, I have trained as a mediator and would like to develop my mediation practice alongside my teaching career. Most of my friends are scattered around Europe, so I spend a lot of time writing letters and emails.
